Looking east along Portland Street Manchester from the pedestrian island by Charlotte Street. On the left is part of Bank Chambers, with three Stagecoach buses at the bus stop. Further along is the Jarvis Piccadilly Hotel, part of Piccadilly Plaza. The exterior is currently under renovation. On the right is the Britannia Hotel, housed in the magnificent Watts Warehouse built in the 1850s.
