Princess Road Withington south Manchester with the tower of St Bernardette's RC church on the right. Princess Rd forms part of the A5103, the main route south out of Manchester. A number 109 bus to Wythenshawe Hospital, operated by Stagecoach, passes on the right. In spring, daffodils grow along the central reservation of Princess Road. The viewpoint is at the top of the incline leading to the bridge over the disused London Midland line. We are looking north towards the city centre.
