Stamford Road in the leafy Victorian suburb of Bowdon 12 miles south west of Manchester. A Daimler Dart from the early 1960's passes by. This is an attempt, by careful choice of location and subject matter, to recreate a nostalgic feeling. In the upper left of the picture is the window of the attic flat where my late sister Phil (Philomena) O'Rourke (later Dare) lived with her friend Kathy Knowles during the 1960's.
