Dominating the centre of the scene is the office block City Tower, with the Beetham/Hilton tower off to the left with its four very bright red warning lights. In the foreground are the industrial and residential buildings to the east of PIccadilly Station. The Wheel of Manchester is just visible on the far right. In the lower centre foreground is Ducie Street.
