The Millennium Bridge links the Trafford side of The Quays with the Salford side straight ahead. On the left is the Lowry and on the right, the apartment tower Victoria Point. This is a lift bridge which can rise to let vessels pass underneath.

The Millennium Bridge has now become a prime place in the City of Salford to take photographs - Singer Russel Watson had his photo taken here for the cover of his first album.
