The two towers of Manchester Town Hall rise up above a Victorian roofscape. Few things appear to have changed since the town hall was opened in 1867 - some new brickwork and an aerial on the left. In the middle is the famous clocktower and to the left, the east tower.


The same view 8 and a half years later.

A remarkable view that in 1999 was virtually unchanged since Victorian times. Since then new office buildings have appeared which have changed this view.
