Morrissey's Manchester by Phill Gatenby is a tour guide of places with connections to Morrissey and the Smiths. Guided walks take you around streets buildings and locations where the band and its charismatic and eccentric lead singer once hung out or posed for photos, including Salford Lads Club, The Iron Bridge Stretford, GMEX, Southern Cemetery and the Free Trade Hall. A city centre map inside the front cover is an added useful feature.

Morrissey's Manchester is published by Manchester-based Empire Publications.

This handy guide is aimed primarily at Smiths fans coming to Manchester for the first time, but the information it contains will be useful to anyone visiting Manchester. The print quality could be better, but overall Morrissey's Manchester provides a useful and friendly companion for those making the pilgrimage to Morrisey's now not so dreary home city.
