The skyline of Lower Manhattan New York combined with Liverpool waterfront pasted in where Brooklyn should be. This image is created as part of my Transatlantic Cities series, an imaginary place where cities on both sides of the Atlantic are fused together.

The viewpoint is a mixture of New Jersey and somewhere in the creative imagination. There are similarities in the New York Liverpool urban landscape and layout, though New York City is of course much bigger. There is currently a debate in Liverpool as to whether it should become 'Manhattan on the Mersey' or remain low-rise.
