Councillor John Flanagan speaks to local residents from Miles Platting who are protesting against the proposed demolition of their homes. Cllr John Flanagan is on the Labour group and is one of the councillors who represent the Miles Platting and Newton Heath ward.

Other City of Manchester coucillors stood behind Cllr Flanagan on the steps of the Town Hall main entrance as he spoke to the residents.
