These terraced houses with stone roofs and white painted walls are untypical of Oldham, a town of mostly red brick late 19th century terraced houses. The dwellings we see here are much older - dating probably from around the 18th century. These properties are well preserved and provide attractive living space in the 21st century.

Very picturesque. An interesting survival of earlier times.
