Two double decker buses which operated in Manchester during the 1950s and 1960s, now preserved by the Museum of Transport in Manchester. The buses can be seen at museum special events. Here they have been hired for a wedding.

These buses are like three dimensional snapshots. Unlike a photo, you can get on them, sit in them, feel the upholstery, smell the woodwork and generally feel transported back in time. As the memory of the mid-20th century fades dimmer and dimmer, these buses help keep it in the present.
