On the horizon is Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, as seen from the Beetham Hilton tower, currently under construction. Liverpool is around 35 miles (56km) west of Manchester. The Trafford Centre (lower centre) is around four miles (6km) away.

Previously I wrote that it wouldn't be possible to see Liverpool from the Beetham Hilton Tower, but I was wrong! The Anglican Cathedral is clearly visible on the skylne, along with trees and elecricity pylons. Seeing Liverpool from Manchester is a long standing ambition of mine, now fulfilled!
