The Skelhorne Street entrance to Liverpool Lime Street Station captured at around 5pm on Monday 27 April 2009. Visible by the entrance to the station are the yellow and grey Merseytravel logo and the National Rail, former British Rail double arrow logo.

The station has undergone considerable renovation in the 2000s and work continues on new entrance steps to the left of this image. In the late 70s I remember taking the green-liveried Liverpool municipal bus from Lime St Station to the B and I ferryport in the docks area for the 22.15 ferry departure for Dublin.
