Commissioned by Tony Wilson of the Necessary Group. This photograph is historic as it was the first hoisting of the North West England flag, and the first time a photo of the flag has appeared online. Photo taken 12. 38, and supplied later in the day. Background sky and landscape is from my archive. Flagpole taken from my photo of the Irish tricolour.
