An electricity pylon with high tension cables stands in the middle of the view. On the left are standard road signs as seen on the main highways of the UAE. Destinations include Jebel Ali, Dubai, Sharjah Jumeirah. This location is in the development area on former desert terrain around 6 miles (10km) south of the old centre of Dubai.
