The promenade by the Pleasure Beach, with the roller coaster rising up into the sky. The all-embracing blue is interrupted only by the pastelly facades along the front of the Pleasure Beach. Seagulls are casually but very skilfully rendered in the upper right.

In the artist's own words: "The Pepsi Max Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The filigree of the roller coaster is the backdrop to a Wild West/Mosque inspired stage set of amusement arcades. Recapturing the magical quality I found here as a child."
