Caroline Johnson's interpretation of Manchester's Cornerhouse accentuates its narrow profile and the dark crimson quality of its brickwork. As with her other works she has pasted in both newspaper and magazine cuttings as well as photographs of people, which add an interesting additional element to the picture. In the artist's own words: "Since 1985, the Cornerhouse has been Manchester’s international centre for contemporary visual arts and film. Art, film, books, food, drink!". Technical details
