The Britannia Bridge links the island of Anglesey with the mainland. Originally constructed as a railway bridge, it was converted into a rail and road bridge.

The Britannia Bridge / Pont Britannia is one of the most magnificent bridges in the UK, and is one of the few examples of a dual road and railway bridge, carrying both the A55 North Wales expressway and the main railway line between Holyhead / Caergybi and Chester / Caer.
