Looking up at the fountain in Alexanderplatz with the hotel tower behind. The fountain GDR times when the new, Communist-inspired Alexanderplatz arose after wartime bombing. This was once the Hotel Stadt Berlin, now it's the Park Inn.

The Alexanderplatz has a look of 1960's town centres developments in certain in British cities.
