Panorama of railway tracks looking from Warschauer Strasse bridge. On the right are two S-Bahn trains. The Fernsehturm or TV tower is visible centre right.

Berlin developed as a central hub for the railway network. This is the former East Berlin, and we are standing above the main railway line east from Frankfurt an der Oder, Warsaw and Moscow. We are looking west towards Ostbahnhof. Berlin's railway vistas and panoramas are a source of fascination for me.
