Much of the area around Berlin is covered with lakes and other wide stretches of water, recalling the Netherlands. We are looking from the island of Werder towards the lake shore.

I love tranquil spots like this next to water. Reeds always remind me of the 1960's Sunsilk advert shown on UK tv, with music by John Barry.
