During the annual steam gala on the Severn Valley Railway, steam trains run throughout the day and night. Here, the steam-hauled 9.15pm departure for Kidderminster is moving slowly out of the station. The Severn Valley Railway is a wonderful way to relive the spirit of the steam age. It is without doubt one of the best heritage railways in the UK.
