This image is an experimental composite image, made up of multiple overlapping images in the lower part of the picture. To balance the image, I have used Photoshop to create rectangular sections at the top. I have also lightened the skin tones, and added colour to the model's lips and eyes. The reason I took the multiple photos was to capture the full extent of the dress, which widens out at the bottom. The dress was an experimental fantasy creation made out of paper and other throw-away materials. It was designed by a fashion student from near Manchester, currently based in Paris. The model was Julie Duane with make-up by Melanie Bannister. This image was captured at my multi-purpose space, serving as photo studio, in Stockport.
