Manchester-based photographer Karen McBride specialises in rock bands and other musicians, and also does promotional photography. She works almost exclusively in black and white, and has photographed both unsigned acts and famous artists, including The Darkness, Elbow, Status Quo and Scotty Moore, one of Elvis Presley's original band members.

Karen's photographs are exquisitely crafted, showing her amazing ability to capture the artist at just the right split-second. Her photographs feature superb composition, with a subtle interplay of bright flashing lights and pools of inky black. She is truly a photographer with the X -Factor.
