The Sean O'Casey Bridge links the northern and southern sections of the Docklands district, currently undergoing major development. The bridge is named after the famous Irish playright Sean O'Casey (1880 to 1964) and was opened by the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern on 13 July 2005.

I took this information from the information plaque on the north side of the bridge. The panoramic aspect ratio is the result of simply cropping a regular photo.
