Primrose Hill is a historic house in Lucan to the west of Dublin. Credit for the design is attributed to James Gandon, architect of the Four Courts and the Custom House.
The house and its beautiful garden are open to the public in February, June and July only. Primrose Hill is a private residence, and only small groups of visitors are permitted to enter at any one time. The garden is beautifully kept with an impressive lawn and a wide variety of flowers. Eamonn de Valera was a frequent visitor to this house. About the photos This image is from the portfolio of Aidan O'Rourke photographer writer website publisher.
