Liverpool Albert and Wellington Statues close up

A close up of parts of two statues in front of St George's Hall, Lime Street, Liverpool. The horse's head on the left is part of the equestrian statue of Prince Albert, and on the right the statue of Nelson and the upper part of the column.

The statue of Prince Albert dates from 1866 and is by Thomas Thornycroft (Source: victorianweb.org). The Wellington column and statue is by George Anderson Lawson and was completed in 1865.
