The drop off area outside Manchester Airport Terminal 3. Dominating the scene is the main office building and control tower. The lighter coloured office tower is the oldest visible part of the main terminal building, which was opened in 1962. The extension to the rear was added in the 1970s. Everything else in the scene appeared in the 1990s. I remember visiting the newly opened Ringway Airport as a child.
