In December 2006, the Civil Justice Centre is nearing completion. It is a massive and perhaps controversial new presence on the Manchester skyline. The building will provide many types of court facilities and will accommodate offices of the Department of Constitutional Affairs.

The Manchester Civil Justice Centre was designed by Australian-based architects Denton Corker Marshall.
