The autumn 2001 advert for Truth by Calvin Klein is seen here on a poster size backlit advert in the central reservation of Great Ancoats Street Manchester, Passing traffic has left red light trails across the picture. Compare this with the Harvey Nichols ad taken on further along Great Ancoats Street nearly 2 years later.

Adverts such as this bring a splash of sensuality into Britain's less than glamorous nighttime city streets. The advert showing a naked woman lying face down on what looks like a river bank. Quite revealing but in imeccably good taste. It couldn't be shown in Middle Eastern countries, for which advertisers of fashion and perfume often produce an alternative version.
