This viewpoint formerly afforded a spectacular view of the Manchester skyline, now blocked by new buildings currently under construction. On the right is the recently opened (and closed and then re-opened) footbridge over London Rd. Two Metrolink trams pass on their way in and out of Piccadilly Station.
