Panorama of Manchester city centre from the roof garden at Life Buildings, a new residential development in Hulme just to the south of the centre.
Hulme is about a 20 minute walk from the city centre and there are regular bus services. Hulme would be a truly well-connected district if it had a rail service, maybe an LRT like the London Docklands or a maybe a monorail. Dominating the skyline is of course the HIlton Tower (Beetham Hilton tower). On the left can be seen the roof of the Hulme Hippodrome. On the right, new office buildigns at Birley Fields.
