We are standing at the end of the platform looking down the tracks towards Stockport and London Euston. Reflected on the smooth surface of the rails are three signals, one at green and three at red. Two trains are about to enter the station. The complex overhead electric gantries appear to form a ceiling above the lines.

This was one of the photographs I took for software company PC Rail, for use as the introductory image on their software simulation of tracks and points at Piccadilly Station.
