There was an extended firework display on the top of the Beetham Hilton tower Manchester to mark its topping out. The fireworks were seen and heard all around central Manchester. These views are from Old Trafford next to the MUFC ground, and from the side of Bridgewater Way near Pomona Metrolink station. The display lasted from around 9.10 to 9.30pm. By chance, I just managed to catch these less than perfect shots of the Beetham Tower firework display just after coming out of the MUFC ground. I'd been taking photographs at the 3 Lions Gala Dinner, an event organised by St Ann's Hospice. This image posted at 10.20pm using G4 and mobile connect card.
