Memorial stone for Ian Curtis, lead singer of Joy Division who committed suicide on 18 May 1980 aged just 23. The inscription 'Love will tear us apart' was chosen by his widow Deborah. Commemorations took place on 18 May 2005 to mark the 25th anniversary.
The memorial stone is located near the west entrance to the cemetery, up the hill and to the right. The arrow indicates the exact spot.
