Brother Cyril was the headmaster of Xaverian College Manchester from 1962 to 1989. The location is Brantingham Road Chorlton. Brother Cyril was born in 1925 and grew up on the Anson Estate. He studied English at Manchester University and taught Maths at Xaverian before becoming headmaster.

I attended Xaverian College from 1969 to 1976 and have vivid memories of Brother Cyril. I met him in July 2007 while he was visiting Manchester. He is now resident at the Xaverian Brothers house near Boston, Massachussetts, USA.
