The Queen in her official car entering the cemetery near Stahnsdorf south west of Berlin amidst a huge police presence. The visit took place on Wednesday 3 November, the second day of her state visit to Germany.

This photo is never going to win any competitions, but it provides a record of seeing the Queen, her striking blue outfit, the sumptuous limousine and the crowds of onlookers and police. I've tried to make it a bit more interesting by embellishing it on a 'postal' theme, with the enlargement of the Queen's face turned into a stamp. I got my first fleeting glimpse of the Queen in the back of her official car at age 8 when she visited Stockport.
