Collection of black and white photographs of Liverpool taken from the 1930's to the 1960's. Despite an uninspiring title, this is a superb and fascinating collection of Liverpool photographs. The cover image is full of the atmosphere of Liverpool during its shipping heyday, and is also an excellently composed image. Look at the outline of Wallasey Town Hall placed carefully between the mens hats by the photographer.
