Neoclassical frontages on 125 St Harlem New York USA and Oldham St Manchester UK. 125th St is the main shopping street Harlem. Oldham St was Manchester's main shopping street until the opening of the Arndale Centre in the 1970s. It is now at the heart of the bohemian Northern Quarter district.

Both frontages probably date from around the 1920s and show remarkable similarities. The signs say 'Moviecenter 5 Welcome to Harlem USA' and 'California Fitness Centre' adding another point of interest. There are many other parallels between 125th St in Harlem north Manhattan, and Oldham St in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
