Jebel Hafeet or 'Whale Mountain' stands to the south of the town of Al-Ain, close to the border with Oman. A two-lane road was built up the mountain and at night the lighting makes it appear as if it is a road into the sky. We are looking from a viewpoint close to the industrial district of Sinaiya, to the south of the Al-Ain. The lights on Jebel Hafeet are visible from many kilometres away. Driving on the highway from Dubai you know you're nearly home when you catch sight of them.
