This 1961 23 window samba was on sale at VWNW August 2006 for £39,995.00. This is the information sheet giving details of the vehicle: "California import, left hand drive, black/white 2110cc scat engine, Rancho gear box, JGE raders, CSP discs on lowered bay beam, lots of NOS parts fitted thro restoration, cloth headliner and ragtop, ask for lots more details. Come to the JAVA stand or call 07770 660924 and ask 4 Jonny."

It looks like it could be a spelling mistake, but the price really does have three nine's in it. This samba was a true showstopper. It was offered for sale by www.vwjava.com.
