| Over forty years after construction, the CIS and New Century
Hall continue to be a major focal point in the northern part of the
city centre, and still look good. Here we are looking from the
MEN Arena car park over the tracks leading into Victoria Station. On
the left is Ducie Bridge which dates from the late Victorian era.
Deep beneath the grassy area beyond the tracks is the River Irk. |
