Stumbled across this Facebook group - which has literally hundreds of great pictures of Salford over the years. Thought I would share ..

Default Salford films Whit Walks etc - fascinating
Thanks for the link. Just had a look at film compilation of old Salford, absolutely fascinating - the Queen's visit to Lancashire and Cheshire in 1968 - that must have been when I saw here on Greek Street Stockport - also Cross Lane Market, Agecroft Power Station and Whit Walks - remarkable footage. Would be great to see similar of Manchester.
