No, but it would be fairly easy to narrow down the two with the railway footbridge on a large scale map and the others are probably in the same area.

I haven't got any large scale maps of that era though.

Default The top picture is Cock Robin Bridge

The top picture is almost certainly Cock Robin bridge, a location I featured in some photos earlier this year. It's quite a co-incidence that this old photo should turn up.

Cock Robin Bridge steps Pendleton Salford (bw)

Holland Street....

I can't identify where the other photos were taken.

I wish we had the identity of the photographers who took these old photographs and where these photographs originated from - maybe the Salford Local History Library.

As they are not hosted by me on this server, I am assuming it is okay to display them on this Forum, but photos should always be credited and copyright guidelines followed. That's why I always put my name and copyright details on every photograph.

Sorry I did not mean geographically where they were taken.

I mean by whom? Are they part of a collection taken by some notable photographer?

They look a bit like Shirley Baker's work, but many street photos of Manchester and Salford from the 50s/60s will probably look similar.
