prestwich and whitefield in the 50's

does anyone have any memories about prestwich or whitefield in the 50's and 60's? also city centre mancs.

i have produced a site about my home town mostly aimed at getting kids interested in local history, as such i have developed an inter-active crime novel set in prestwich in 1955. chapter 1 and 2 are complete for you to download, rest will be updated weekly like a soap opera.

im also looking for old photos, cine film of the area for the site

can anyone help
