Salford Quays - Latest Media City : UK Pictures
Here is a link to a photo album I intend to update weekly/monthly on the latest milestone developments relating to the Media City : UK development (NOTE: 9 MegaPixel Photographs available on request).
Latest Media City : UK Pictures Latest Media City : UK Pictures - Backup This will hopefully provide an insight to the various building stages purely from a pictorial perspective. The projected completion date is 2011. It will be interesting to see if the proposed building estimates are similar in accuracy to IT software development estimates. Salford Quays - Latest Media City : UK Pictures
All pictures for this month and the rest of the project (until otherwise informed) are taken with a Canon S5 IS camera. I have to say, I am very impressed with the image stabilisation technology in this new camera let alone the clarity and colour depth. Check out the results on the latest pictures.

New pictures added for this week. When will the first crane be erected? No sign as yet as they prepare the ground and make way with the underground water pipes etc. I'm no builder but you can learn alot(?) just by watching the development process as it unfolds. It would be nice if the sun was shining just occasionally in Salford Quays to throw some more light on the site. Having said that, those diggers must be finding it easy going with all the water to soften the land...

As of September, the latest Media City : UK build pictures will be posted at the following link as part of a change to the 3rd Financial Quarter of the year :

I think threads like this are nothing more than spam, they have nothing to debate, and all they do is take people away from this site. It would be at least polite to have some images on this site and to debate those images here.

My sincere apologies. I didn't realise that you could embed images like on other forums as I quickly tried a few typical approaches. Any advice on how to do this would be greatly received. This is why I just settled for putting in an external link.
Alternatively, I could just stop posting if the moderator agrees bazzor? I have had no complaints thus far and I do put in a considerable amount of effort weekly to provide the latest Media City : UK photo journal. This personally costs me more in terms of time than either not posting or just writing a response to a post. As a Professional and an IT Manager, I have no interest in Spam but just thought this thread would be interesting..... Please advise Aidan... I will hang fire on posting until further input?
