I agree, it was a rubbish piece.

The BAR Register has been available from English Heritage's website as a PDF document for years and, ironically, very poorly maintained.

I've wasted hours visiting some of the buildings across the region only to find they've already been demolished or undergone renovation and conversion.

It's the beginning of the silly season! The bones of the piece were worthy of at least a 30 minute, if not an hour's genuine, in depth documentary - not a 120 second slot on a regional news programme.

Thumbs down manchester fire station

I worked for the owner and it this is a project that will never start in his life time. I had dealings with the building and it will never happen.
English heritage should take it of them and restre it before it's beyond saving.

Smile Fire station

I can't say too much but you will all be pleased to know that there is some sort of development beginning for the Fire station Building.

Surveyors are in there at the moment creating plans of the existing layout
but the final type of development is still unknown at this point..
