Default Q3 apartments

I have a son who sadly couldn't find a Manchester Course to meet his needs at University. He has a place after working a gap year elsewhere.
The problem of university accommodation has therefore arisen. In the course of or examination of options I happened upon details of the Q3 apartments in Manchester. The concept is design in a space of 20 ft x15 ft offering a kitchen, shower room, bedroom and living room. Sounds fine, looks good on the website too. Just wondering if anyone locally has any views on them? They look reasoanble on the outside and well situated for the University.
http://www.q3apartments.co.uk There are additional developments which can be viewed in various locations on studentapartments.co.uk and in our travels as part of the application process we saw some acceptable modern developments in various towns and cities!
Manchester scores quite highly in surveys for University accommodation, unlike the city son has his place for

Default Q3 apartments not in Victoria Park!

It's remarkable, the choice, variety and standard of student accommodation in Manchester these days. Q3 Apartments look very good indeed, and the rent seems reasonable.

However the location is definitely not Victoria Park! Victoria Park is at least a half a mile to the south. This area is Chorlton-on-Medlock. Victoria Park sounds better but C-on-M is actually a lot more convenient for the University.

Default New student accommodation on Upper Brook St

There is a big new construction site at the junction of Plymouth Grove and Upper Brook Street. It looks to be another student accommodation project. It seems the dingy student bedsit may be becoming a thing of the past.
