Looking for singer for one off track

Wonder if anyone can help? I've nearly completed a track, darned good if I do say so myself. It's a dynamic - soft loud, Celtic rocky affair, that was inspired by a trip to Kintyre, Scotland. Been working on it off and on for a long time now. Anyway, Music, melody, words, all there. I just need a vocalist. The RIGHT vocalist. I already know a few people with decent voices, but I need someone with more a 'Bono' style? Someone who can sing, soft and then rocky. Male, obviously. It's a one off, for this track. Had bit of interest in the song, but no real plans as yet. I just want it finished really. If you know of anyone I could use, please let me know.

I know the feeling of having put together songs but being unable to sing them properly. My singing voice is only good for backing vocals. I have done some songs, and in the absence of anyone else suitable, sung them myself, but I would love to hear them done by a good vocalist. Then I might not be so reticent about playing them to people.

By the way Mamucium Son, I think you have a very good singing voice, but sounds like for this track, you need Bono. Hmmm, I'll just get on my mobile and give him a call... 00 353 123 ...

If only! I was friendly at one point with with The Edge's brother Dik, and once had a long conversation with Gavin Friday of the Virgin Prunes, but unfortunately I never met anyone from U2, though I saw them lots of times before they were famous.

Might be worth trying This Collaboration site Just upload a backing track, and others will add Vocals for you. Worth a go ?
