Insurance for an 18 year old male

Hi, Me and my boyfriend are doing up his camper that he's had since he was 15. Now he's passed his test we were realy looking forward to traveling around this summer but we are unable to find any insurance company that would cover him

. Does anyone know of any company that would? Thanks xx

That's a tough one, getting insurance for someone under 25 to drive a VW van. It may be possible, the only way is to enquire directly with the various VW heritage insurance companies.

perhaps get a parent to insure it for any driver.

hi, i have exat same problem im 18 been driving a few months now and going on tour wiv band in september and cant get any van insurance so what we are doing is getting my parents to insure it with anyone driving it and we pay them the insurance costs, so itll be cheaper all around and can legally drive it. might be an idea for you

has anyone actually managed to get vw camper insurance for an 18year old? if not and you have become the named driver on your parents policy what is the name of your insurance compnay? please
